Thanks guys. I was really excited when I found him. It was a great experience and I am very happy I was able to spend it with my father (he was set up on the other side of the property, didn't see anything  ).

These are some times I know I will never forget.

I am trying to introduce my dad into the idea of "letting the smaller ones walk" because I truly believe we have a perfect opportunity to have some very large deer in our area.

I was able to make it into the stand with my sister this weekend to help her get her first deer. She has shot a very large bull moose with the crossbow, but has never shot anything else. We had two bucks fighting in front of us and saw another buck chasing a doe. I hope to get home this weekend to get back out there and try and get her in position on a nice buck.

Heck of a buck!!! Your hard work and patience certainly paid off.

Beautiful looking mature deer there ! This guy has great genetics. Hopefully he passed some around. The reward in taking a mature whitetail are tenfold when compared to taking a small one. The does taste better and the little bucks grow up to be monsters ! Good shooting partner !
