Some people just can't seem to play by the rules.
It's a shame more states don't have stiffer restitution laws -
(92 x 92 x $1.65 + $500.)
I would add that I'd like to see a lot more poachers here get caught! I know of many cases where with our one antlered deer per season law people with non-hunting wives and children have the additional bucks tagged by family members.

I'm not an expert on figuring the restitution cost, but if my math is close it would be $14,465.60 here in Ohio. ((gross score - 100)² x $1.65 + $500.)If convicted, Reinke would be required to pay $2,000 in restitution for the three illegally killed deer
(92 x 92 x $1.65 + $500.)

Yea . . .those big horn hunters are trouble. I heard of a guy that is forcing his wife to hunt after he took his only legal buck. Unreal.bstout wrote:[ One "well heeled" individual went so far as to purchase an archery license for his dog the day after he used his own buck tag.

Ah, the pervasive power of addiction.
And to pretend that it was all her idea. Truly pitiful.

It's not you.
We know you're not making the "Little Dove" do time in the woods.
No ... the individual guilty of this crime is beyond redemption.

They refer to the guy as a *hunter*.
He is NOT a hunter!
Why can't the media tell the difference? It seems they want to take a poke at "hunters" every chance they get.
The newspaper should get their story straight and the poacher should lose his *poaching* privileges permanently.
i agree ...
I knew no good would ever come of her taking to the field again!mikej wrote:it sounds to me they are talking about a certain writer here on the forumbstout wrote:You guys have lost me on this one.Grizzly Adam wrote: Sad, isn't it?
