Hi everybody
Hope everyone is having a good fall. I just put a new string on my 1990's exocet and would like to check the brace height,what should it be and I believe if it is not correct you unstring the bow and twist the string amI right.

Hi Mikdor,

Your brace height should sit between an inch to an inch1/2. The newer bows have marks on the rail to indicate proper brace height. You are correct about twisting the string to reduce or increase brace height, depending on the need.

You got a pic of your older bow? I shoot a 2000 Exocet and an even older Wolverine(not sure what year that one is).

My height was about 5/8" I twisted the string about 10 turns and it is now11/8". What a great place to get help.
