Newbie crossbow question

Post by cobra commander »

Hi,

I am not sure where this topic belongs. Feel free to place it where it is best suited moderator.

I am new to crossbow hunting. NJ recently allowed the use of crossbow hunting and my brother allowed me to use his. While trying release the drawback after a day of unsuccessful hunting i accidently dry fired it and broke the crank cord and the two hooks. It was a max point buck master and I would like to know if these can be replaced. Thank you for your suggestions.

If not mistaken, the Max Point has an Excalibur frame with a Bear Archery head, so I would assume the parts are interchangeable. Call Danny Miller, just do a search for his number,, it's been posted hundreds of times.

So what you did is broke the crankaroo ? Why did you have it still hooked up You cock the CB push safety on & load an arrow. Did you find yer hooks ? cord can be repaced so can the hooks.
