the bucks have disappeared!

Pulled the card on my cam at the feeder today and there was only two bucks in the pictures. Usually the bucks have been outnumbering the does this year, which is unusual, but out of 137 pictures (the cam is set for 3 pic/trigger) only 4 sets of pics had bucks in them and one was wearing tiny headgear. The other was a smaller 6 pointer.

Could this be the actual rut?

you are right i had two groups of spotted fawn up till end of october.

the deer have disapeared here during day light hours.its gun season here,but im still using the crossbow in some areas.my nephew just got back from illinois hunt and seen very few deer.
