My beagles bury everything. Give them a chew toy or bone and they run out side and bury them. bury things in the couch and beds don't matter. If we find one the burried in the house and pull it out they get very irritated with us.

A Bobcat covers it's kills like that. I have seen that where there are a lot of Bobcats, my farm.

I agree most likely it wasn't a yote. If you shoot anything here in my area and don't recover it that night, forget it. You'll be lucky to find much hide or bone let alone most of the animal.
