Survey - Crossbow - right and left shooters

Post by Black Coyote »

Just wondering how many of you, when using your crossbow, can shoot from both your right shoulder and left shoulder. As I shoot both left and right, I enquired through Excalibur whether they made a one piece cheek support for both left and right side. Their response was that not many people shoot both left and right so there's not sufficient market for them to manufacture them.

I can shoot right-handed in a pinch, but I'm primarily southpaw. I shoot an Exomag with the traditional stock, though. Improvise! Or, you could create your our design, there is a market.

I discovered that I can shoot left handed as well as right handed. Never would have imagined. If the crosshairs are on it, I can get it. :D

I am left-handed, but wouldn't hesitate to shoot right-handed, if a deer came out on my left. I vote, ( for) an ambidextrous cheek-piece.

I've taken deer with my Exocet both right and left handed. The hardest part is getting the bow switched the other way in time for the shot. Gary

Shoot left by choice-------but can shoot right if I have to --with stuff with a scope. Vertical bows left only; shotgun left only.

I'm ambidextrous but right eye dominant. I wouldn't hesitate to take the shot left handed on anything but a vbow. I will try to practice off hand in future sessions though.

I shoot CB and guns lefty

I shoot compound right (dominant right eye)

When using a scope I have to keep right eye closed, have been working on shooting right so I can use both eyes to increase field of view.

I would buy a duel cheek piece. :)

If I broke my right arm, I'd likely die of gangrene...unless I found a very good friends who would accompany me to the bathroom
Tried is several times just to be prepared in case I had to shoot that way. LOL
