Crossbow Care and Storage

Post by NSIan »

Do you folks have any ideas on crossbow care and storage, over the winter.....
Our Crossbow hunting opportunities ends tomorrow, here in Nova Scotia, just looking for some different ideas.

Thanks so much.

I think what you're supposed to do is set up a target or 2 and lovingly shoot at them every week or so. Then wax the string, take pictures, post results and we'll all talk about it.

If your going to not shoot it fer several months. You unstring it, & take diss bar pads off. You can pull trigger assembly & clean it & clean & oil screws wipe down rail & arrow slot.

...i do exactly what smokepolehall does above....there should be a section in your instruction manual explaining this also. I was out a few rainy days and felt the need to take apart my trigger assembly and oil it. Its pretty simple.. :D
