You wouldnt say that after a 300lb boar puts you up a tree! I always say: shoot them in the body and the head will run off...shoot the in the head and the body drops in their tracks!

There is no gun too large to use on pigs.
I really should have the Swede take a photo of my right butt cheek and show everyone the huge scar courtesy of a large boar. But as you know, I have to be careful with any photos I post here.
Wounding a large boar and tracking him is very dangerous. He is stronger, faster and in my case, smarter then the hunter. And he can kill you.
Never underestimate these animals.
It is true.
To look at them you can't realize how fast, strong and Visicious these animals can be.Even the barnyard variaty can kill you but when we start talking wild pigs, thats another animal all together.I have been treed and will never forget it.
Never underestimate these animals is right.

Yes, considering your age and gender, posting such a pic would be a "little too cheeky", and not too Boo-ty-alious
On my recent wild pig hunt I shot a boar with my Equinox, then re-shot the same boar a week later with a 300 wsm. Then my guide finished him off with a black powder bullet to the back of the head. The toughness of these animals is unreal. I agree with Mike P. there is no gun to big for these guys.
