Wow, really radical. Thanks for sharing. Looks like the work of a cnc machine. Does'nt look like hand crafted custom work. Very unsual shapes.

It's nice to see people digging in my photobucket and finding something they like.
These crossbows are the work of Master Pyankov.
He passed his knowledge to Dmitriy Krohalev, check out his work here:

I got ta tell ya...that green one above with the Dragon head would look pretty sharp on your Vixen I can just see you sittin' on top of a Mo ridge with that beauty in yer hands, ready to pounce at the slightest movement of brown...vixenmaster wrote:I went to his photobucket site some nice carved wooden stocks fer sure
Pretty stocks but not my taste. But I do know a Klingon who would probably love one
Looks like a labor of love to me!
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

Those look pretty cool. Some of those have some quality, functional designs. A couple of them also look really heavy, like the dragon. It's thick and big . . .not something to be hauling to your stand. It's a show piece, for sure.
I got to say, I love my walnut stock. I have the factory stock hanging in the garage, but, I seriously doubt it will ever see action again. The walnut is just as lite as the plastic, the spar varnish made it tough and shooting it is a pleasure. The Aging designed cheek piece is awesome. I don't miss the plastic at all.

I actually like that design best of all his wood stocks. I like the sweeping cheek piece which allows easy access to the scope and still seems to be functional. It's a simpler design.
Problem with the picture other than the lighting . . .looks like she's holding the crossbow with the wrong hand, right? I'll have to schedule some lessons for her.

Looks like her finger is on the trigger, sure hope she doesn't dry fire that thing...premature releases can be damaging I'm told...sumner4991 wrote:
