Were you hunting from the ground?? Where did the arrow hit him??

No from a stand, he was slightly quartering I took out one lung and clipped the liver on the exit. The shot was a little further back but vital anyways.
The other buck I took last month was a perfect double lung also from a stand and the blood trail was very poor. If that buck hadnt fallen in eyes view I might of lost that one because there was no snow to help.
