Thanks all, Tyler is quite a good shot. Uncle Ellis said that he skinned and quartered one deer pretty much by himself. Whew, it's so tough not being able to keep up with him and having to "hear" deer stories from someone else but I refuse to make him stay around the house and watch me do nothing. Y'all, I'm not the strongest man in the world and must admit that this is scary but I just have to take a deep breath and put this in God's hands. The trial really is a simple procedure but I just can't get it off my mind. Now if it works and I have the system installed, that's a totally different ball game. I thank all of you for your prayers. That means so much to me, you can't imagine. We just finished cleaning our guns and have put them in the safe. I removed the dp pads from my exomag and unstrung it as well. I sure hope that I'm back in business by turkey season but for now I'll take it one day at a time. What else can I ask for huh :?: the tough part is understanding how I got this bad this fast. It started only a couple of days after returning from Texas. The pain was so severe that it literally made me sick to my stomach. Anyhow, we'll just have to see how it goes but guys and gals, PLEASE continue to pray for not only me for for our whole family. God sure has blessed me with strong woman that's helping me through this. I pray this new year will bring better health for me, my family and friends.
God Bless !!!!!!!!!

Ray, God has also given you with friends AND family on this forum to be by your side during your trials. Don't you ever doubt it!!!

I'd like to become better aquainted with your wife and daughter, but they don't seem to shoot enough deer to have a prominant presence on the forum!!
Maybe you could change that. I'd love to meet your 'better half'.

Ray had the trial proceedure done but things didnt go well. He is going back tomorrow to see if the surgeon can relocate the nerve that is his source of pain and place the electrodes where they need to be. Let us all continue to pray for him as I know how much pain he is in. I will soon be having the same permanate proceedure done on me in a month. when people have the kind of pain we have, it consumes your whole life and thoughts of self destruction can and does enter your thoughts. lets hope that Ray can get through this and be strong enough to defeat the demons playing destructive thougthts in his mind. I love you Ray, keep up the fight man.

Thank you for the update Jay! Ray has been on my mind. So sorry to hear things didn't go as well as we all hoped. Will continue to pray for him and for the surgeon as they try to get the pain under control.

...and Jay - you're in our prayers too!
