New Phoenix

Post by Pinpoint »

I finally got the call yesterday afternoon that my new phoenix was in. I ordered it a couple weeks ago and have been goin crazy waiting for it. I almost bought a used exocet with the brown vixen stock that they had because I was tired of waiting. The exocet didn't have the varizone scope or dissipator pads, and it wasn't camo, so I waited.

It was worth the wait!! :D They have a 20yd indoor range where I bought it. It took exactly 3 shots to zero in the scope at 20 yds! I then took fifteen more shots and the entire group was within 1 inch with field points!! I was shooting one at a time as I can't afford to be buying new arrows !!:D Right out of the box this bow was bang on. I have a feeling I am going to go nuts waiting for hunting season to come around! :)

I can't wait for some decent weather so I can get out and try it at some longer ranges.

Does anyone know how many grains a stock 20" carbon firebolt arrow weighs. I am curious of the weight of my set up, I was using the stock arrows with 100gr tips. :?:

Thanks in advance

My 20 inch firebolts weigh 266 without the points. I am shooting the 150 gr points that came with my package for a total of 416gr.

Glad to hear yer phoenix had arrived & you have shot it. Drooling all over the screws causing them to rust was not a good idea!

The Phoenix is a great choice.
Plenty of speed and power, but still light enough to make practice fun.

Enjoy it and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys are probably right, don't want her to get too jealous at the very start of my new relationship with my phoenix!! 8)

I promised her I wouldn't even look at the bow tomorrow, Hope I can pull it off.
