Looks nice CK, I like seeing the progress through the pictures. That would make a great hunting blind on a rainy day. :)

the first buck here is from when I was 12 LOL.. my first deer mounted... He ran up 10 yards from me and my dad. He let me shoot for some reason which started the whole ANTLER obbession! I need to recape this one and one other, but I cant put a cape from another deer on a different one unless its a good reason. After 17 years I guess it would be ok LOL.

cant get a good group pic since I cant zoom out far enough. I spaced them so I can come back under/between them with lower profile mounts.

Pedestal mount from this year will go in the middle.. ill figure out where the other 2 go when they get back.. i wont have any of the 3 back this season till April though

i bet your wife was happy to get her wall space back in the house! :D

how many mounts do you have total?

is there anyone who frequents this forum that has more?
If it isn't hectic, it isn't hunting!

its a few here that have their walls full i know;)

Ive got 10 total head mounts and about 25 on boards... Ive basically kept every set of antlers except for a few spikes and 4pts since ive started hunting when I was 10 LOL. Wife loves them gone and the upstairs has plenty space now!

Fred, hopefully this holds me for another few years. I just like the lodge feeling I get from it when im out there now.

Have you considered any crown molding? I think it might finish off the ceiling/wall junction and make that seam a little sharper. If you do I would suggest a very small quarter round stained the same color as the shields on your mounts. The area is small so you don't want large crown molding or it can make the room appear smaller. The addition of the small molding would also add warmth to the room giving it more of that lodge feeling.

And how did you light them? Could you snap a picture of the lights your using on the ceiling?

Im just using Flo Lights up top.. cheaper route! Ill have corner lights on when im not working out there though so it wont be so bright. I have the T8 low profile ones up on the ceiling.

here is a shot after I put some things in there.... In the back left I can make that either into a gun cabinet or somewhere to hang hunting clothing. I added a cedar chest and a few other things to store hunting equipment. Thinking about getting some cushions to put on the chest and double that as a bench to set on. Trash can goes under the front table so its hidden. The white table comes out when I get a decent wooden table/desk for my computer. Also have a camo couch going in sometime LOL.. moneys short so the rest will come in time

CF,

The room looks awesome......when is the Man Cave warming and BBQ, I'll bring the steaks and beverages. Let me know when a good time to drop by would be, I'd like to check it out.
