Exciting news about string stoppers!
I have seen them go by the name STS as well as a members rendition called a NGSS, I own both.
I got got an email from a very reliable person this morning telling me that in the very near future Excalibur will be putting a string suppression system on the bows, right from the factory! It only makes sense, it is a valuable asset to a bow. It is comforting to see that Excalibur is listening and responding to the needs of their customers.
There was a rumor a while back that the original STS system was going to hold a patent, as some of us know it never got that patent, and likely never will. Not only does this mean people will be able to enjoy the benefit of a factory mounted string suppression system very soon, but now it will be an opportunity for those with a bow made prior to a factory installed unit to explore other options, like our own members creations.

Not sure, I shared everything that I know at this point . I strongly suspect they will be removable, like everything else on the bow.

Cool . I wonder if the stoppers will replace, or be in addition to, DB bars?

I'll be keeping an eye open for these. I was planning on getting the STS but now I will wait and see what Excalibur comes up with.

I hope they make the rods adjustable... that would be a plus...

Re: Exciting news about string stoppers!
Yes, just got my sts in and need to mount it. If these things are made for excal cb's, then why do they have to be modified so they will fit. My stock sting is about one string width inside the high mark. If I put a fff or Boo sting, will they fall in the same place. Also has anyone tried drilling the bracket all the way through, so that the rods would be fully adjustable?

Glad to hear that and hope it is true. I would be in for 2 sets of them if this is the case.

Re: Exciting news about string stoppers!
When will they be available and how expensive ?? I live near Dyersburg Tennessee and that is close to Mr. Joe Goude's archery shop the so called inventer of the sts , I think Bucks And Ducks gets around $50.00 dollars or so for his STS system , I see no need for them,, any deer or turkey will hear even the quietest bow , and when I serve my string with the .30 halo serving I may get as many as 300 shots on a single serving using the method as the video that Don (BOO) posted .. and I shoot a EXOMAX and an EQUINOX ...

Good news but late for me . Made some for each of my bows when I first heard about them. Work great, reduce vibrations and give me peace of mind in case I dryfire (again).
