had a bit of a medical scare (worry) yesterday
Got up yesterday morning and noticed something just didn't "feel right" with my heart. Sort of a "fluttering" sensation. Didn't give it much thought, but it was still there at noon time when I stopped in at home, so I checked my blood pressure & pulse. Blood pressure was a bit high (140s/90s) and my heart was skipping beats (about 3 a minute) so I called my doctor.
He got me in for an exam later in the afternoon. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, but he put me on a beta blocker temporarily and they drew blood for testing. He told me he may want to do a stress test if the blood tests indicate a problem and if the problem persists.
Told my wife he asked if I'd ever had a stress test and I told him, "Heck, I married one!" She didn't see the humor.

Try not to stew too much. Worry's the enemy. Last May I had some discomfort, did the tests and they did the angio/stent thing (2). Come Oct. I had one of my best moose and early Nov. deer shotgun hunts. No pain, discomfort and I could walk further than the kids. BTW I'm 60 and the oldest in the group. Good luck and God Bless.

my dads going through the same mess now... hearts skipping a beat. They put him on 15 different meds and his problem now is fluid buildup. Hearts still skipping. They did the stress test and etc with no luck. Next thing is to shock the heart
