Post by Limbs and Sticks »

Just a progress report from May 8th

Image

to May 24, everything is good except the peppers, I've never seen anything bother them ever, I've sprayed, must be one bad bug, so far just eats the leaves?

Cool! A platinum blonde! Could do with a bit of make up but I think she's up to the task. Hope she doesn't drink much

Like the garden hoe. Very creative. You have plenty of room for beehives there. Next year we will have to set you up.

The garden looks dry!

We had 5" of rain in about 1½ hours Friday evening, so it may be a few more days before I get any more plants set. :(
We even had a tornado touch down in the county during the storm (no injuries, luckily) several cars and homes damaged by flash flooding, and 6 bridges on county roads washed out or damaged bad enough to close them until they are repaired. Our town in on a hill top, and we were trapped for a few hours until the flood waters receded. All the state highways leading in to town were closed because of the flash floods!

If you are not finding bugs on the peppers you mat have slugs that come out at nite for them just surround the plants with pine needles and you will not have a slug problem any more.

Nice to see a garden coming along. Beautiful background there also. My grandson and I will be planting our small greenhouse tomorrow. He is 21 months old. Will post some pics. Can't plant a garden this year due to my health but thats okay.
Thanks,
Raymond
