I used to smoke 2 pks a day,one day while walking out to my deer stand my lungs started wheezing and i said to myself it's time to quit.It was really tough to quit and i needed my wifes help to do it.After 30days your almost free of it.Stay away from smoke filled places and bars.Don't get drunk because you'll start up again.Start taking long walks.Time goes by fast so stay with it,you can beat this!

i have not had one since easter weekend 1996 and believe it or not every once in a while they still smell like i need one after supper.the thing that helped me quit was i stayed away from beer the first few months .i could smoke a pack in 3hrs. if i was drinking .it will get easy after a few weeks .good luck munch

Congratulations!! It will get easier with each passing day.

My friends said I would never do it but I did. Smoked 2 plus large packs a day. went cold turkey. Lost both my parents to lung cancer and the Dr. that treated my mother said I was a bad risk for the same. That was enough for me.

I smoked hard for a long time, 3packs plus unless I was drinking then I really don't know, started when I was 12yrs, quit at 59, 3yrs ago Thanksgiving morn. I started with the Chantix pills and haven't had or wanted one since, what I'm saying is if I can do it you can to, GOOD LUCK, Oh if you feel a little weak give us folks here a hollar,we be glad to help.

Good deal snapperdan,my wife gave me a visit with a lady that hipotised me and that was 7 years ago STILL not smoking.It was the best gift I have even gotton...hang in there
