I was shooting the other evening and was easily able to watch the brightly colored fletching through my scope (set on 7x) as the arrow spiraled toward the target.

I bought some firebolts from Burt Coyote Luminox with the lighted nocks already installed, $49 for three bolts. You can see them perfectly in flight. There used to be something on the market called fur tracers. They were bright colored fur strips that wrap around the end of a bolt and were cheap but worked well.
