Wow.
I'm all sighted in to 50 yards. Screw on some 100grn G5 strykers and take a shot at 20, dead on, 30 dead on, never made a change. I haven't shot 40 yet but not too worried about it. I'm leaving for bear camp on Saturday and have never shot a bear longer than 17 yards. These are first broadheads that i've shot that have the same poi as my field tips, very impressed.
Now all i have to do is get my boo string on. I've had it for a month and still haven't found the time!!

You should re sight after you put the Boo string on especially if you sighted in with the factory excal string.

I agree. Probably shouldn't take a shot over 20 yards on a bear either. Of course, I'd perfer to be must further away, right Boo?peter p wrote:You should re sight after you put the Boo string on especially if you sighted in with the factory excal string.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Re: Stryker..... Shocked
I've been looking at those Strykers.
With my compound Magnus Stingers and Rages and Innerloc EXP's and field points all hit the same spot out to 50 yards. Haven't sighted in past 50 yet but my max distance is 50 anyways. I just like practicing at long distances it makes 30 yards seem like a chip shot.

Re: Stryker..... Shocked
I've been thinking of Strikers.
I've used Wac'Em Exit (4 blade very similar design to Striker) for a couple of years with excellent accuracy & results.
I know the G-5 Montec is accurate from my Phoenix and figured the Striker would be, too.
BTW - The SlickTricks are very accurate from my Phoenix, but I couldn't get them to group with field points until I changed my fletching to 8° helical. With 4° offset the grouped well, but NOT with field points.
I believe the arrow differences (FOC, fletching type & angle, length, etc.) make more of an impact on accuracy than people give them credit for, or think about.
I'll bet if one brand broadhead shoots great for you it would also shoot great for me - IF I had the exact same arrows you were using!

wabi . . .I agree! The speed of the arrow/bow makes a difference too. The faster we go, the more precise our broadheads have to be.
