From one worthless mission to another . . .

"Much of the U.S. war materiel and many of the soldiers departing Iraq are being redeployed to Afghanistan, where NATO forces are fighting a resurgent Taliban."

We just don't seem to learn form our past mistakes. This so much reminds me of my stint of far east 'vacation.' worthless cause, fought for people who don't care or appreciate us. When will we stop being the policeman of the world?

I have been deployed over there 6 times, and I would much rather fight them there than here at home and if we just walk away that is what will happen. Please never forget 9/11 and how we were attacked these people will not give up

Sorry, I didn't really mean it the way it sounded. I think it's more "mis-guided" than worthless. It really ticked me off when Obama campaigned about ending the war. I knew then, he wasn't ending the Iraqi war, he was just starting another one.

Neither of these countries are a threat to the US . . .there are some out there, like N. Korea and Iran. If we would leave them alone, then they wouldn't be a threat either. Why isn't China scared??

If we declare war, then let's go in there with all we got and take care of business. Why do this half arse crap?

Anyway, lives are lost because of lack of committment to use DEADLY force. Either go all out or get out.
