I shoot a poenix w/ light stuff package and carbon arowws,,,would like to try some aluminum and all I have are 2114's,,,would this work?

I just searched the archives and people have used them. You should be ok as long as they weigh enough to pass the 350gr minimum.

I wouldn't use anything under a 21 series shaft though. I know lots of people who use 2117's.

As Tye has said stay above 350grs. Thats all I hunt with, go for it.

I think bstout uses that size & puts 110 gr brass front insert in them

21** series aluminum arrows will work fine.
Just be sure the minimum arrow weight (total weight with point installed) is 350 grains or more.

If you're sighted in with 22** series (aluminum or carbon), you will probably have to adjust your sights when/if you switch. :wink:
