Six Arrows, Six Shots! Bring on October!

Post by CDN Taxman »

Went out today and set up some stands and such and took a few shots using Newguy's target to see how it hold up to a crossbow!

Six arrows, six shots, 20 yards.

Not bad, considering! I'll drop it another inch and try again!

Managed to take a couple of shots at 40 yards and was surprised to see that I was hitting about 8 inches high! I was aiming for the centre dot! Good groupings though!

I read the Varizone thread just started here and it dawned on me that I was using the bottom chevron....thus 50 yards! Duh!

At least the target stopped the arrows!

Anything within that little red circle is a bullseye for me! And those two 40 yard shots were almost my first robinhood!
