I made one with similar material and found it stopped the broadhead and arrow fine, but was a bugger to pull out. Try some lube on the arrows before you shoot them and it may help.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

Made one a couple of years ago of regular styrofoam insulation. Cost $7
Held together with duct tape. BH comes out easy. If they go right through I just take the the BH off and pull the arrow.

well i shot my target today, it stopped the arrow but the BH was bout 4" out the back on the target....couldn't move the arrow an inch to get it out, had to cut the target in half to get my arrow out :lol: ....well it looks like i'll be using that red/white/blue styro target from walmart for BH practise........bob

shot a broadhead thru peat moss the other day ..it was wet and the arrow made a complete pass thru at 30 yards ...didn't find it ...went and bought a 60 dollar walmart bh target and so far so good

Looked at those red & white wal-mart targets ($17.00) great price but doesn't the foam liter the ground after being shoot a bit ?
