First kill with my Vortex

Post by ncbowhunter »

Well after passing several does with fawns and a few small bucks I finally get this mature doe to 30 yards eating acorns. I put a good double lung shot on her and she made it 60 yards before going down, she didn't know I was anywhere around. I will try to post a pic with this that I took from my phone before I gutted her.

Good looking doe. Congrats!

What broadhead did you use?

Yeah, that is a fine looking fat one. Thanks for sharing and congrats on a good shot!

Congratulations on that great looking doe. I love reading these hunt stories. I got my first "Vortex" deer a couple of weeks ago during our early anterless season.
