Great buck there, I will not lie it brought a tear to my eye. Everything great in life should take a little work to get it or we would never respect it.
If i'm not hunting i'm fishing, and if i'm not fishing i'm wishing.

Whew, that will never happen again in a million years buddy  . Tyler, you are are a very respectful young man that has learned and accepted the same values that my fathers instilled in me. All of that "Yes Sir" and "No Sir" that you were taught as a child was for a reason along with all the other do's and don'ts. I'm proud of you buddy. Not for just killing that buck but for being the fine young man that you are becoming. We have a lot more hunting and fishing trips in our future and I thank God for every one of these adventures. These men and women on this forum will agree with me when I say that you are a pleasure to be around weather in person or here on the forum. I love ya buddy  .
God Bless !!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the both of you. I was thinking of you both during my hunt this afternoon. I kept both of you in my prayers and was hoping you'd find that Buck!
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

Thanks for all of the kind words. I was thinking about it at school today and if Mocha had not found my buck then we sure would have smelled him the next time that we hunted that stand. Man it's hot here. It is supposed to cool off some wenesday so we will hunt some then. Our rifle season starts this saturday so we only have a couple of days left to hunt with our muzzle loaders. Good luck.
