Hi everyone,
I am very interested in the excalibur crossbows and in crossbow hunting however I don't know where to start! I don't know anything about crossbows and even less about hunting I was wondering if there is anyone that could point me in the right direction for a beginner.
Thanks
B

Give us a general location you live in, and tell us a little about your experience and what you would like to hunt.
We all started with little to no knowledge, but some of us were fortunate enough to have experienced hunters to help us out. Could be you'll find a willing mentor to help.

Welcome to the forum. You will be happy to know we all were in that situation at one time and we are still alive and learning.
Keep smiling!

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

Hi and welcome to the boards
I hunt in U.S.A. - MN. - last year, you had to be " over 65 OR handycaped"
The year 2010 they droped the "over 65" and you need to be handycaped only.
Some states just say NO. That is why you need to know where you will hunt.
Here`s to a little blood on the floor.

Thanks everyone for the welcome! I'm located in Burlington, ontario (not much forest) I'm interested in hunting deer but you should know I don't even have the bow yet A mentor would be amazing but I won't push my luck! lol
I'm glad I'm not the only one thats new at this! I was a little afraid that people on this site were all farmers kids or experienced hunters!

I am in New Dundee just outside Kitchener.
If you feel like a trip I would be glad to meet with you and let you shoot my bow so you can get an idea of what they are like.
Could even take you out a couple of times to get your feet wet deer hunting

Some of us older members have a little experience, but I think we all can remember when we started.BBlinch wrote:Thanks everyone for the welcome!
