I have an Exocet 200 with a Vari-zone scope currently. I'm looking to upgrade to the Hawke XB30 scope. Magazine reviews seem favorable but I'm looking for real-world input.
Before I buy, does anyone out there have experience with this scope?
How does it compare to the Vari-zone as far as:
Glass quality?
Ranging function?
Ease of use?
Thanks for any input.

No experience with that model Hawke, but the Hawke air rifle scope I have doesn't impress me all that much.
It's a functional scope, but I get a lot of glare (reflection) on the ocular lens which makes it difficult to use when the sun is low in the sky.

Other than weight, I have heard nothing but praise when it comes to a xb30 scope.

I have one, its AWESOME! I believe its the best crossbow specific scope on the market right now.
Its light gathering ability is incredible for the price point. Too many features to ramble about. Check it out on the web.
