It's shotgun season in my neck of the woods. Not wanting to sit at home, I ventured out this morning and got settled into my stand an hour before first light. As usual, I parked my car 110 yards away where it would not interfere nor be winded. Not until 9:30 did I see a deer, and it was standing way off to my right 25 feet in front of my car! I nailed it at the base of the head with a rifled slug and it dropped dead on the spot. A really nice 8 point to boot. The identical thing happened five years ago!! Exact same car parked in the exact same spot with another 8 point downed. I'm never parking anywhere else.

Congrats on the buck!
My truck is a deer magnet too. While en route to my deer stand a couple of weeks ago, I killed a really nice 9 point WITH my truck. Fortunately, I drive a 1 ton truck with a big steel bumper.
