Sunday Hunting.. Am I the only one who can't?

I feel for you! We get alot of money tied up in that little hunting license, The license itself archery,muzzle loader, doe, bonus tags, bear,fur taker,water fowl... I'm an average guy with an average job "work Mon-Fri". Being from Pa. I'm in the same boat, all we can do is sit here and look at a beautiful Sunday morning or rake leaves

Hey here in southern Ontario at least we can bow hunt on Sunday and in the last couple of year's some county's are allowing Sunday gun hunting but in southern Ont we have calibre restrictions and no rifle hunts for deer very hard to follow for vistors or new hunters.

I gotta live in the only place that still does not and never will allow Sunday hunting. I am sure envious of you folks who can actually go out both weekend days. Other than PA am I the only one who can't hunt on Sunday. It's a beauty out there and all I can do is rake leaves..ARG!!!

You are not alone. No Sunday hunting for me either (Mass/CT). It really stinks when you look at the weather today and the forcast for Monday and Tuesday.

I can remember back to the BC years.
(BC = before crossbows)

No Sunday hunting, no crossbows,
all that was left was fishing or that 4 letter word I like to avoid (work ).

Not sure what changed it, but Ohio is a good place to live now.

Hi all I remember yrs ago Ohio didn't have Sunday hunting. I used to get so PO in reguards to that issue. Maybe someday all the states will allow sunday hunting. Keep pushing your legislature on the issue and just maybe they will see the light. hey laws are meant to be changed or broken for sure.

Thats really bad on y'all that only leaves you with sat. to hunt. I saw 11 thts morning twice as they passed my climbing stand just too fer both times!

I live in WV and most of the state does not allow Sunday hunting. It is voted on by county. If it is allowed, it is only on private land. Those poor souls of us that aren't rich enough to own our own land can't hunt on Sunday.

I spend most of my hours in the woods hunting on the opposite side of the mountain in Virginia. They have no Sunday hunting either.

I'm originally from Arkansas and I was amazed when I got to the East coast that folks couldn't hunt on Sunday.

I have never heard a valid reason for it.

no sunday hunting here in pa. so my sons and i hunt maryland . only certan sundays allowed in md but better than none.allowed alot of deer in md. my sons hunt pa too but i won,t by a pa . i only live 3 miles from md line. md.has long archery season till nov 26 then a late season around jan 1 till jan 31.
