I take it the rut is still on??

I was traveling the 401 today just West of Cambridge at 12:30 pm and noticed a couple of deer in a harvested bean field. I pulled over and watched a six point chasing a doe all over the field. Of course my camera was at home charging

.

Any one else still seeing signs? I have not been able to get out and was thinking I had missed the rut entirely. I am looking to get out over the next few days.

Things are really starting to heat up around my way. LOTS of sign! Can't wait until next weeks controlled hunt.

Yup i think it is just hitting its peak this week in S Ontario. Have deer coming to calls and allot of chasing and scraping going on now.

I have seen alot of new scrapes and rubs , but no deer yet. Sat 5 hours yesterday (afternoon) 4 hours Monday (morning), and nothing but grouse kicking around.

I don't think you've missed the rut.
It's getting moving but I don't think it's in full swing yet, not in my area anyway.
