Re: Military Mickey Mouse Boots
They are just "Mickey" boots, not Mickey Mouse. I would be sceptical of any hunting gear called Mickey Mouse.
Look sturdy enough though.
I especially liked this sentence:
"Built-in altitude air valve pressurizes the Boot when our troops are airborne. It's a handy feature... if you parachute in to watch penguins."

Yes, Mickey Mouse boots do have a long standing reputation as being very warm, but very heavy also. Would be an ok choice if you are not walking very far to your stand.

Get the white ones, they are alot warmer. Don't wear heavy socks or your feet will sweat. l wear dress socks and some guys don't wear any socks. They are great ice fishing boots or for sitting in your tree stand. Not made for long distance walking, because they are heavy.
Hope this helps as l had a pair for 15 years.

Re: Military Mickey Mouse Boots
Thanks for all the great replies to my question.
Well after looking around some more I went and ordered these boots http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/i ... x?a=567286. The price difference between the two price wise was not that much and since I've got a limited budget for hunting equipment I've got to make every purchase count. So I'm hopin these fit ok and will last me a few years for cold late season hunting.

I got a 2000 gram pair of Red Head from Bass Pro delivered for $100.
Those military boots are very heavy I have never walked in them but they are stiff they carry them at Princess Auto in Kitchener.

Re: Military Mickey Mouse Boots
What can I wear outside of my big mickey mouse t-shirt? Tomorrow I feel like wearing something comfy to school. So I'm wearing a big mickey mouse t-shirt with black jeans. My arms tend to get cold easily, & I don't know what to wear outside of the t-shirt. I thought about a hoodie or a cardigan but in my mind it doesn't match? Any ideas?
