It was the last day of the controlled hunt in my unit. After waiting all week for the huge 6x6 I had seen during the early archery season and having no luck I decided to take the first mature buck that presented a shot. Not even 5min on stand and this guy walked within 35yds.A single 50 cal 45-300gr SST/ML shot from my Traditions Pursuit2 XLT dropped him within sight. Looks like another mount for the rec room...Man my wife hates my taxidermist LOL! :lol:
