Duct tape, another great use!!!

Post by hikerman »

Been wanting to try this for a while.

Take a long strip of duct tape enough to go around my wast.

Stick 6 to 8 of those hand warmers on the duck tape.

Wrap the tape around my long underwear.I position the hand warmer on the tape so they will sit at my back and kidneys area. Then layer up.

Works great!! Providing constant heat in my lower back.

I use these - they stick right on your clothes and stay warm for over 12 hrs.

Been doing the grabbers for a while now. Stick them lower back, shirt pockets in my boots. And my buddy's think I am part walrus when I can spend so many hours in the cold.

I use the ThermaCare heat wraps. Here is a good tip for those of you that have a vacuum sealer. If you are only hunting for a couple of hours it's ashame to let the ThermCare or other warmers you may use go to waste. Take them and vacuum seal them. It stops the reation and you can pull them out and use the next time you go out. I went out for a couple of hours last weekend, after coming in I sealed my warmers used them again today just like they were new. The fun today was that I took a nice doe.

congrats on your deer xbow_cas!

I picked up a box of 40 pairs of hand warmers for $14.00. Figure this was a cheep way around buying that belt warmer.
