MUNCH the Christmas prankster

Merry Christmas Excal enthusiasts...My name is Rhonda and I am tat4life's much better half (LOL). A few weeks ago, I went thru great lengths to find and contact Munch to beg and plead my case in getting a MUNCH MOUNT made for my hubby who has been driving me crazy with how desperately he wanted one.
Long story short, Munch is my new hero and I cannot ever remember seeing Gary this happy....

In my back-and-forth emails with Munch, he asked if Gary had a good sense of humour. With Gary being a supreme practical joker, I saw an opportunity to finally beat him at his game. Munch concocted a plan to fool Gary into thinking he had made him a mount and pack his "gift" package with the tackiest Dollar store tie I have ever seen and a 6-pack of field points. In a seperate box, he packed Gary's real gift exchange gift: custom made arrows and string beautifully crafted by Munch himself. (The mount was packaged seperately as well).
The idea was to let Gary believe he was getting a Munch mount for his Excal gift exchange only to open the gag gift (tie/field points) . Munch made me promise to tell him the results and post pics of Gary's reaction.
His wish is my command...see pics of Gary and his tie below.
Upon seeing Munch's return address, Gary tore open the packaging. His faced dropped when he pulled out the tie. He was speechless....
I eventually gave him his real excal gift exchange gift and his munch mount.
This will be a Christmas I will giggle about for years to come.

Thanks again Terry for the warm emails, the hard work (in the short time you had to complete it), the beautiful craftsmanship of Gary's mount/arrows/string and the best laugh I have had in years. God Bless you and yours this Christmas and always.

just received my gift in the mail 2day,just in the NICK of time...hehe....thanx Terry(Munch)...looks like someone might be getting a new mount 2morrow....wahoooo....cant't wait til X-Mas....merry Christmas Terry and family and all excal members and theirs.......

gary just incase you buy another crossbow i could give you a deal on another mount.i made 2 because i've had some issues this year with canada post not delivering on time.i think we had talked and i told you i was not making any mounts till the new year.you need to give your wife a big hug she talked me into trying.i thought to be on the safe side i better do 2 and if worst came to worst i could ship to rhonda over night ups .i'm glad it all worked out but did not want to let anyone down by saying i could supply by christmas.i think rhonda understood that.i like to think i can be counted on to keep my word .good luck hunting and let me know if you have any ?terry
