NO BUCK DURING ARCHERY BUT!

Hello to everyone it's been a while sence I've posted . Well archery season was exciting but did not produce . I had big buck's around but they would'nt come in. One morning I had a big buck come in 20 yds in front of me I was in a pop up blind but could'nt count horn's to dark but I believe he was a shooter big buck . Anyway it was'nt till rifle season I got a crack at a buck 7:30 first day PA season 90 yd shot with my new TC VENTURE 270 WIN fine gun. Shot him right in the ribs he went 20 yds and down nice 8 point. As for archery season I passed on a few little button buck's I did'nt feel they were worth my 1st kill with my equinox I wanted a nice buck for the equinox . I can wait till next year for the big guy . Hope everyone had a great hunting season & holiday's Best to all Rodney

Hey planter thank's for the reply . My new TC VENTURE is a great choice if your looking . Well made feels good to shoot does'nt kick bad . Plus the $ was a deal had a $50 rebate with it . Put a leupold VX-1 scope on it . I tryed winchester supreme xp3's the gun did'nt like them all over target . Then tried Nosler Custom trophy grade 270 Win Accubond 130 gr. the rifle love's the round after resighting the rifle it shot dead on at 100 yd's . I highly recommend the VENTURE you may have to find a round it likes if so try the NOSLERS good choice to start with . All The Best Rodney
