I have a pile more coming in (as do other dealers I am sure :) ) so I will be re-posting on ebay once I get more in but if you want one and cant find it I have them on my site...

Boo wrote:I ordered from David at Wyvern as well. He'll be sucked dry of string stoppers soon! Danny Miller should have them by now and his prices will be excellent as usual.
I called Danny today to place an order, he doesn't have any in yet probably at least another week yet. He's gonna put one in my order when they arrive. Not sure of price but around $50. He also said they aren't really needed, but will dampen noise some and help recoil. He recommended to remove the dbars instead, cause a deer will hear the bow anyway. I figure its like a firearm, the deer will hear it too, for the last time...

Does anyone know what they weigh? Those of you that have them, do they seem to make it front heavy?

With all due respect, Hmmm, I find all crossbows front heavy with nothing added to them. Oh how it sucks getting old!

essublime wrote:Sorry. That is what I meant. It doesn't make it any more front heavy than it was prior to putting them on. Of course thats where the majority of the weight was and will always be. That's why I decided to go with a sidewinder quiver instead of my groundpounder mount.
hehehe knew what you ment, just me being silly!

Naaaaa. I am good. I could tie my own cement block on the butt if it becomes a problem! I would save the shipping charge. LOL

Wow! I like the S5 SS shock system and how it quiets the bow down alot! total weight of the bow, with scope and no quiver is 8.6lbs as I weighed it on a scale I have to weigh my backpacking gear. Love to get the washers from Excal now,,and take the dissapator bars off and see how much bow weighs and how much noise there is,,but I am betting this is the way to go,,love this setup so far. :D :D

Picked mine up from Carl's in Windsor yesterday.
Gonna modify it to work with my munch mount before I install it. :)
