I just made a target for field points, basically a foot thick box stuffed full of rags, with the front and back made of carpet, seems to work well. Now I want to make a target for broadheads. I will not be shooting it much, just enough to be confident of where my arrows will be going come hunting season. I'm thinking of another box, but this time full of kitty litter or sand. I've also got a stack of old phone books available. Has anyone had success making their own broadhead target?
cheers,
David
