Something in glass
I bought a slate and if it was thinking of raining tomorrow it was temperamental.

I've got a drawer full of them and I still like the Meadowbrooke the best. "bucont" on the forum here sells them.

Take a look at the Derby City calls. I recently bought one in the flame maple and it sounds better than anything else that Bass Pro had on their shelfs as a demo.

Bought one from bucont as well. I like it. Even bought a second striker for it. All fits in my Canadian Tire case I bought and hangs on my belt.

Most are good and work well. Aluminum is my choice in materials as I find the yelps from some strikers can not be beat. I size with the Triple threat by QB as it gives me a choice of different materials and the call don't cost a lot...

Thanks for the replies. I have a bunch of them in glass, aluminum and who knows what else but I just don't have a good slate. I do have a Cody glass call which is very sweet but I'll check out all your recomendations. TC
