My Exocet 200 just arrived!

I thought my Exocet could possibly arrive today but had pretty given up. Was in the garage cleaning fushing reels for a big striper trip tomorrow. To much surprise, the UPS truck drove up at 6:30 with my crossbow.

First, I want to thank Dan Miller, everything was packed very well. Dan even included a sketch showing me how long to cut the string on the cocking aid. Followed his directions and everything worked well.

The crossbow us very high quality and all of parts and Allen wrenches were organized is
in small plastic bags. Bow was easy to assemble I made several test shots using flood lights on the corner of the house. Seems to be really fast. Cocking the bow will take a little time to get in shape. The first time I was a little timid, now I am man handling it and it is getting easier. Think I will go outside and make a couple more shots.

I have been going outside and shooting the Exocet three shots every hour or so. Going to have to get a better target, beginning to shoot all the way through. Also, used the cocking device for uncocking the crossbow.

Have been shooting this weekend, it is getting easier to cock the crossbow. I limit each shooting seesions to 12 arrows (used same technique with compound). Amazed at how well the fiber optic sight works but called Dan M and ordered a Lumizone and the mounts. Like the idea of the multiple ranges. May try the rangefinder option later.
