Day pack

Post by gundog »

What would the raging masses suggest for a day pack? They do carry a hefty price on them so I would like to make a informed purchase. Is there one brand that out shines the rest?

For years I carried a cheap Walmart one and it did the trick pretty much as well as the more expensive one I now carry. My current one had a pocket that drops out of the bottom which holds the butt of a gun (or legs of a stool) - the rest of the gun or stool fits vertically between a small kangaroo style pack attached to the main pack. Cool feature that comes in handy from time to time - could also fit the xbow, but the limbs might be awkward.

Badlands make a very nice Day pack that has great support at the waist. Check it out. sometimes on Archerytalk.com you will find one for sale. Good Luck. :)

Rocky fanny pack with shoulder straps,$49 plus tax. Sturdy, cheap but carries a lot and is rugged.
