Welcome!

You will get use to the twang . . .which is usually followed by the thump, then leaves crashing through a yellow wood.

There are some ways to make it a little quieter . . .do you have a STS? That helps.

Hey, Guy's thanks! I just got in from shooting my new Axiom
3 Bolts A couple clicks on the old scope at 20 yards and boom! she is shooting X rings what a
B.A Cross bow!!! now to Quiet her down and I just cant wait
to wack! a Whitetail .

I love reading enthusiastic posts like yours Ken! It pretty much sums up how we all have felt after our first Excalibur. A S5 and a boo string with whiskers, some heat shrink on the arrow retainer and a wraped stirrup your bow will have a lot different note to it.
