Anyone fletching 2" blazer vanes for their bolts
I'm new to the excalibur community since recently purchasing a 2011 Exomax from American Archery Supply in GA. I've been fletching blazer vanes for my Hoyt Maxxis and haven't seen any built arrows using the blazer vanes. I read on the excalibur sight about gluing a nock to a bolt to my current jig but I may end up getting one set up for the blazers. Any help from the group would be greatly appreciated since I'm sure the blazers will really increase the accuracy at 30+ yard range. Had to find a home for the Hoyt due to shoulder issues and so far I really enjoy this excalibur.

Alot of us fletch our arrows with 2 inch blazers. I have the bonning blazer jig with 3 degrees helix. You still need the adapter piece for crossbow flat nocks. I love my crossbow arrows like that. Glad you like it and welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Exomax.
Many here shoot arrows with the blazer vanes and there are a few different jigs for putting them on.
Some require some type of adapter to be used and a couple will work fine with the crossbow flat nock.
Stay tuned and those good folks will help you out real soon.

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

I prefer the 3" Fusion. IMHO the Blazer may bottom out on some xbows causing erratic flight. If the Blazers fly good then use them. Won't know til you try.

I use the blazers, no problem at all. I tried diffrent set ups, without a big diffrence, but so far I like the blazers best.

I use the QuickFletch QuickSpins and they have performed very well. Even though I have a Blitz and Arizona jig, I like the ease of just dipping the QuickFletch's in hot water and being done with it. Took 3 deer with the same arrow this year and they're still in good shape.
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

i was looking at blazers online to buy and seen they have new .4" height to them that would be fine in crossbows where the .5" hit the channel bottom........bob

Have been using Blazers for a number of years and have nothing but good results with them . So far they have been the toughest vane I have ever used. They can past thru a 3 d target and come out undamaged .
