Congratulations to Tara for pulling the trigger on her first beautiful tom turkey this morning!
We enjoyed a very exciting and entertaining morning hunt with Ken, a.k.a. UncleFester. It was a great experience!
I'm sure Tara will share her hunt story once she catches up on her sleep (and I'm sure she'll be dreaming about turkeys!).
I'll take the liberty of posting a couple of photos though:
And of course the requisite famous garage photo!

I get to go this Friday with my second tag & now I am pumped up again!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.
awesome job guys, that's a great bird... gotta get me a garage like that..lmao... awesome job.. sure is great to be outdoors with friends and family...
Way to go bugs.. Beautiful colours on your gobbler!! If it was only 9.9 lbs, you,Vix or Ken must have used an air pump to inflate it to that size , or it was a decoy that deflated after you shot it . Good to have it clarified though. Congratulations again...
