He might be wanting to know the distance from the trigger to the butt. On a gun, that is the length of pull. I guess a crossbow has TWO length of pulls. :? Gary

String at brace height to hooks is "Power Stroke"

Length of Pull is trigger to butt.

Are you sure? Did you actually measure both types of stocks?

I don't have access to either right now, but I recall that the standard stock LOP was only about 1/4" longer than the thumbhole stock. It just FEELS a lot longer because your wrist is much lower on the thumbhole stock.

Maybe someone who has both types and a tape measure can give the definitive answer?

I only measured my Equinox at 13'5" LOP. The overall length of the Equinox is 38.4" and the Max is 1.1" longer at 39.5". The extra length is certainly in the stock length. Do you see something different??

The trigger on the thumbhole stock models is actually a bit forward (with respect to the latch) compared to the trigger on the standard stock models. That's why the Equinox is shorter than the Exomax.

13 feet 5 inches? That's a pretty long LOP. :D

It appears that we need a measurment from both. I thought the additional 1" Max overall length was from the stock alone.

I should of been a little more descriptive in my question. I am asking for the length from the face of the trigger to the rear of the stock. I have an extended LOP (15 inches) and I noticed one of the xbows was an inch longer so I was hoping this extra length was in the LOP. Not a real problem as insert are available. Thanks all for your feedback. Bulkness

158 views, and not a single person with a tape measure and a standard stock Excalibur ?

Come on, somebody...:D

enormous's Equinox is 13.5" from the trigger to the shortest part of the stock. Who's got an Exomax/Exocet/Phoenix?

OK, 14" for the standard stock and 13.5" for the thumbhole stock. As I mentioned earlier, because your wrist is lower on the thumbhole stock, the LOP feels more than 1/2" shorter.
