Now that's an eye opener as well! Nice job Mike, your own design or did the customer have the design!

He wanted one close to my crossbow stock. I never make two the same but this is close. Mine is a laminate and this is Quilted Maple.
Its starting to bother me a little but I still get the goose bumps making them. May need another doctor.

Maybe you need a holiday, bring a stock to Canada and I will take you bowfishing. Just think of the trouble we could cause by not even trying! LOL

This winter I am going to try checkering or Gary's style of carving. He sure makes some great looking artwork. Looks like fun. :) I hope the US customs is watching my posts hoping I try to sneak one across the border again. Those bastards!

Very curvacious stock there aging!
I can't wait to see the grain come to life when the finish is applied.

Here we go again! I'm so glad this one is not crossing the border. I'm also waiting patiently for Boo's stock to arrive at his house. Does he have it in hand yet? :?:
Glad you're thinking of taking up the carving. It's a good way to burn up lots of time, that's for sure. I've got a new carving project going on my shotgun. New style. Here's a peek. Gary

No, Boo still does not have his stock. It is stuck at a Michigan packing place where Farmer is going to pick it up after the planting of crops and the postal strike is over. You can blame the strike on me, I think they heard that I was sending a firearm. You know the longer I wait with starting to learn carving I look at Gary's work and the behinder it seems I get. Great work as always. You da man. :D

Gary that carving is amazing...absolutely beautiful!!

And wheelie "One may step over me, but one is not going to step on me on the way over!" that's one of the best quotes ever!! I love it!
