Making a stringing aid

Post by new2xbow »

I know that some people have made stringing aids out of 550 Paracord by putting a serving on it. could one possibly use shrink tubing as a serving on the paracord?

What can i say i am a cheapskate with plenty of paracord and shrink tubing laying around.

Sad part is I have had my excal for 3 days and after seeing Agings stocks I am eyeballing a piece of birdseye maple I have had in my shop for a while now.

Of course i still have 7 weeks and 2 days to kill before deer season opens. I am just glad NC has relaxed on crossbows by one opening the archery season to them in 2010. And removing the pistol purchase permit requirement to allow online ordering in May making them more affordable. Other wise it would be quite a bit longer till season opener for me.
