brace height

Post by ow81 »

I'm new to crossbows so some of the terminology used is baffling me. I bought the S5 for my bow but in the instructions it refers to brace height. What is this, should I be concerned and how do I go about adjusting it if needed. I tried searching but could not find what I was looking for, then checked the videos on the excal site but could not find brace height listed among them. The reason I ask is because the string is a different distance away from each stopper and am wondering if they should both be set at the same distance apart. Thanks. I feel like such a newbie but you have to start somewhere.

g'day mate, this is a good example of the right brace height & with the S5 just keep the string just like a match from them in width. best regards frank
