Day on the lake

Post by ecoaster »

Spent the night at a buddies cottage near Picton Ontario. We got out today in search of some smallies. We managed to boat 15 or so decent bass. This guy snapped my shad rap during one of the drift sessions.

We had a fish fry at the end of the day with some of the bass. I usually don't eat them, but in really clear water, they taste pretty good. The brown is filleted and will meet the BBQ tomorrow.

I ended up with a bit of a lobster look by the end of the day. It was hot and REAL sunny. :D

The water felt tropical. Had to go for a few dips to round out the day.
