Actually ODL is doing us current Excalibur owners a favour.
The fewer hunters there's out there who own Excaliburs, the better odds for the rest of us, by them not harvesting as many of "our" deer.

Of course, it's in jest. I was just trying to be as absurd as ODL.

I wonder if advertising $ had anything to do with where you were rated on their "test"?
Nobody in their right friggin mind would rate a barnett over an excal!!!
I'll take any barnett on with either of my to excals any day of the week in any category you want!!!!

"lower end speed" and lack of gagets dont sell or impress the inexperienced. Once they blow up a couple of bows they start to look pretty good though. I cant help but wonder why they picked the newly released axiom out of the excal line-up?

Wheels, gadgets, and speed are impressive to a large part of the market I guess.

Did they do any accuracy tests?

Sorry 45, but, I can't say they did a bad job without shooting those crossbows. I've never shot any of those bows.

However, I can say . . .I don't understand testing a $500 crossbow against a $1200 crossbow. They should rate the customer service department, customer satisfaction, number of returns, and ease of maintaince.

I do like the testing they did . . .I thought they did a good job of making it as unbias as possible.

We are loyal to our brand and I know why I choose Excalibur. Maintaince, reliability, simplicity and a company you can trust. They didn't include that in their testing.

jh45gun wrote:Then say it there. I gave them my two cents but forgot about customer service and number of returns ect. I find it better if others say stuff instead of just one guy. Some one else said he shot his brothers Excal and it was heavy  I guess he never lifted any of the others said he was gonna try a Horton

Will do . . .I think the guy that tried his brother's bow had never tried a crossbow before and he thought it was heavy compared to a vertical bow . . .and they all seem heavier than a vertical because of the weight distribution.
